This website--born of deep respect, admiration, even love--is my own endeavor to honor the memory of Karen A. Carpenter. While no page, regardless its length, can satisfactorily contain other than the merest sketch of a person's essence, especially about someone so wonderful, I hope mine gives an appreciable glimpse into the life as well as the accomplishments of a very special individual, and leaves a lasting impression of just how much there is we might learn from both.
